Admission fee
In 2008 participants were asked to pay an admission fee of 1.600 Euro reflecting the real costs of organizing the course. In the past some students have been granted the possibility of paying this sum in two installments.

The admission fee covers the school, reading materials, and access to the Venice Film Festival. Participants are responsible for all other costs, including transports, accommodation and subsistence.

Successful applicants must pay a 250 Euro non-refundable deposit immediately following notification of admission.

Financial Assistance

Applicants may indicate a need for financial assistance. Such requests may be met, depending on the availability of scholarships. Assistance will be given in the form of full or partial tuition waivers, but will NOT cover travel and accommodation costs. Financial support is reserved for applicants for whom financial assistance is a precondition for participation in the School. If you request such financial support, your application will only be considered in case this can be made available.

As the Summer School is already subsidized for ALL students by the European Union, for obvious reasons, the application committee looks upon students who can pay their tuition with favour.

If you are applying for financial support, please write a separate Letter of Request and include supporting documents which are relevant to your motivation.
